Job Description:
As a Ready Mix Driver at HRM Concrete, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete products to construction sites.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload concrete, ensuring accurate delivery according to customer specifications.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a ready mix truck is REQUIRED. Other types of experience outside of direct Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driving is not considered. We do not offer training opportunities at this time.
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic laws.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more to move materials as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed.
